Level Ground is a California Arts Council Grant Recipient

We love having good news to share with our community, which is why we’re so proud to announce that Level Ground is a 2021 California Arts Council grant award recipient!

This is truly an honor as we are one of 60 organizations statewide, and one of only 21 organizations from Los Angeles County - alongside major arts organizations like Film Independent, Center Theater Group, and the Feminist Center for Creative work - to receive a grant from the California Arts Council (CAC) this year.

The California Arts Council is a state agency with a mission of strengthening arts, culture, and creative expression as the tools to cultivate a better California for all. It supports local arts infrastructure and programming statewide through grants, initiatives, and services. You can read the official CAC press release here.

This funding will allow us to continue our work of supporting underrepresented artists through initiatives like our Artist Residency, Production Incubator, Artist Collective, SKEW Magazine, Blooming in the Whirlwind, and more.
